There seems to be a delicate balance between RAM allocated to Photoshop, RAM allocated to Epson Monitor 3, RAM left over for the system, boot disk space and scratch disk space. I suggest playing with several factors until something works: 1. Increase memory allocated to Epson Monitor 3. It doesn't seem to help to go overboard with this, but a couple of MB might help. 2. Make sure your free space on both your scratch disk and boot disk are defragmented. Have you checked the scratch sizes of your files in the lower left corner of your image window? It is probably up in the hundreds of MB. 3. Try decreasing Photoshop's allocation to leave more for your system. It's tempting to give Photoshop as much as possible, but the system needs a lot for printing. Make sure it has at least 40MB, then try 80MB or more. 4. How long are you waiting before you give up when you try to print? It can take a few minutes, during which there seems to be no activity sometimes. Does your Mac really freeze, or can you quit printing and go back to Photoshop? 5. Go to the Utilities dialog in your printer driver, click on Configuration, and play with the settings. Try clicking on Default Settings first. If that doesn't work, try checking or unchecking "Check for Errors Before Printing." Oddly enough, this has cleared up some jams for me. Good luck. --David Stock -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Please do your part: Stay on topic.
