1280 Nozzle check ...
I had posted before regarding this problem, but no one had apparently seen
it before. The symtom was bad colors being printed, and when a "nozzle
check" was performed the yellow patch (sometimes cyan) produced either a
'black' line segment, a black line, or entirely black. I thought I had
fixed it by completely un-installing (most) files, and re-installing an
older driver ... but the symptom returned yesterday. I temporarliy fixed it
again, by turning off the printer and computer and beginning again ... but I
suspect the problem will reappear, and it has reduced my workflow to
^always^ checking my nozzles before printing.
I believe it would be extremely helpful (to many) if this symptom could be
traced ... as if someone else has also seen this. Could it be because I am
using 3rd party cartridge chips? (Mediastreet Gen4 cartridges, and now a
Niagra II CIS)
