The list member who had been agitating on the list a while ago for an mc7 
upgrade option just emailed me to express his excitement, which got me 
thinking that I hadn't seen mention of this on the list yet:

For anyone who owns an aging mc7 monitor calibrator, ColorVision has just 
announced that during the month of June they will extend the CRT Spyder 
upgrade program (replacing it with a new LCD/CRT Spyder) on their website to 
include mc7 calibrators. And I believe they also are allowing that 
transaction to include their current special offer, which is a large package 
(something like a hundred sheets) of various DotWorks papers for free when 
you make a purchase from their website. The upgrade also bumps you from 
PhotoCAL to OptiCAL, and this is the last month for the trade up offer from 
the older Spyders as well, so if a new LCD/CRT Spyder with OptiCAL and a box 
of DotWorks paper sounds tempting to any of you older Spyder or mc7 owners, 
take a look at the colorcal web site and see what you think.
