820 streaks

Hi, 
I'm sure someone has run into this before, so I'm asking the group. Epson
is giving me the runaround. I have a fairly new 820 printer and it is
putting streaks on the back of the print. The are about 5/8" apart. I
assume it is caused by overspray onto the mechanism, but I always print 8
1/2 x 11" paper and haven't had any misfeeds. This will occur immediately
on the first print of the session. Any ideas what is causing it?
