Re: Epson 3000 paper feed problems
This occurs when the uptake rollers get slick due to paper dust and dirt.
When the paper doesn't enter the printer on time, it detects a misfeed and
ejects the paper. This happens for the two 3000s that I use. The only method
I know for a work around is to give the paper a nudge by hand at the moment
the uptake rollers grab. Cleaning the rollers helps me temporarily,
sometimes only for a few sheets. I'm hoping to find a sticky compound, like
a liquid form of PostIt note adhesive to give the rollers a better grip.
Maybe there is a sensor inside the printer that is contaminated which could
lead to this problem? But this is just a guess.
