Jon,

My favorite source for inkjet paper and ink (not associated with them)

I have a 1270, I buy 36 or 44 inch rolls (Epson double weight matt, SO41383)
and cut it with a band saw to 10 to 13 inch lengths, or what ever I need.

Most of their roll paper comes in a box that has plasted ends that allows
you to feed the paper out of the box without a roll paper holder.

I believe they also sell a roll paper holder for the 1270, but I bought mine
from the Epson web-site.

I also bought a CIS from them, extremely satisfied.

Again, not associated with the company, just a very satisfied customer.

They are happy to give advice over the phone, numbers above.
