Hi Mike,
I'd rather use the MIS and Generations inks because I know them well,
and am
completely happy with them. So I WOULD be a buyer of the 2200 printer,
If and when a CIS becomes available. I simply will not pay piezo or
Epson ink prices.
But I imagine the 1280 is coming to the end of its life soon, as you
rarely see them advertised anymore, and you can get one for $450. I
expect they'll stop making them in around a year or so, if they follow
their usual pattern. And I'm completely satisfied with the 1280, so I
just may get another one after all.
