Well sumarized; but you neglected the totally blind and the double amputees,
who probably are not inclined to have dual monitors or any monitors in the
first case and two monitors but no keyboard in the second case. :-)

OK, Folks:
The upshot of the dual monitor question seems to be:
1. The ambidextrous can save money with only one monitor and use one hand
on the mouse and the other on the keyboard for shift-tab.
2. The dominant-hand disadvantaged with the deeper pockets will opt for the
dual (or more) monitor setup.
