RE: Epson 1200 menu with Win2000
Can't speak for Win 2000; but I have gotten my Epson 1200 to work with WIN
XP home edition using the Epson drivers as opposed to the Microsoft drivers.
I am speculating; but I think that Win 2000 may have installed plug and play
the Microsoft drivers for the Epson 1200 ( it will have some letters and a
slash in the name) as the default driver. To use the Epson drivers and
status monitor ( files downloaded from the Epson site), you may have to
manually install them such as to have both sets represented as two different
Epson 1200 printers, making the Epson driver driven printer the default
printer.
All I can say is that it may be worth a try.

Subject: Epson 1200 menu with Win2000
I've just pulled out the rest of my hair and finally got Win2000.
When I tried to print to my Epson 1200 the menu of printer options was very
different (whoa, what the hell is that?). I can no longer define a paper
size, nor can I invert the image so it prints right side up, as I prefer
(can't imagine why anyone would want the paper image to come off the printer
upside down!).
So, what do I have to do to set some of the odd paper sizes that I use -
13x19, 13x9.5 and 8.5 x11 SIDEWAYS, for instance?
