Missing colors

I am using an epson 1280, I have run a variety of paper stocks in an effort
to fix this problem. It seems that instead of reds my printer is putting
down greens with a series of black horizontal lines. I have run all of the
1280 cleaning utilities and my diognostics show that I have plenty of ink in
my cartriges
