Inksaver Software
Someone posted about the new InkSaver software program, which is
supposed to be able to adjust the amount of ink the printer uses on a
document. In theory it sounded like a wonderful idea, because often I
need to print something I'm not too particular about that could get by
with a lot less ink.
I downloaded the trial version and it, evidently, messed with the
drivers on the C80, so now I have to reinstall the drivers. Device
Manager says the drivers are not installed.
I was wondering if anyone else had tried the program, and if it worked.
Maybe it's just the trial version, maybe that has a bug in it? Or maybe
it installs new drivers. Either way, the trial version didn't work. The
interface is nice and has a box to click to "ask me before using," but
it didn't do that either when I printed a red sentence from Word.
