months or so?

New technology is around the corner, up to 300 mega-pixel may be possible!!

now with Foveon.

Color film will be DEAD within a couple of years for most purposes.

Thanks for all the replies that everyone sent.

Nikon told me they were coming out with a new 6.1 mega-pixel camera this
summer call the D100.  The multi-function battery pack is not part of the
camera and has to be purchased separately, but I'm sure it's worth the extra
cost.  Nikon said it's a great camera for weddings.
