1270 page layout problem

I could not find a search feature for this list, so I apologize in advance 
for my probable redundant question. If there is way to search the I would 
appreciate a heads up.

I have a 1270 with an Apple iBook 600MHz running OS 10.4, and print from 
Photoshop 7. Print center shows my 9.75 x 7.75 17M image centered on the 
page. The printed image however, is off center with all borders of 
different dimensions. How do I center the image on the print? Also should 
I use borderless paper—I currently use Epson Premium Glossy 8.5x11 for 
printing 8x10's to be framed. TIA...vDog
