Assuming you are using one of the most popular operating systems, you just
click on Desktop Properties and then click on 'Extend my desktop onto this
monitor' for the second monitor. It's then automatic - you just move your
mouse in the direction of the second monitor (you do have to drag the
monitors in desktop properties into the arrangement that you are using -
second one on right or left). There are problems sometimes with Wacom
tablets, but if you get the latest Wacom drivers, they seem to have sorted
them out now, even for XP.
