Since my last post I have ordered a 1270 Service manual from NPD.

If you go to the Epson UK site, click on Search/Contents and type in
'manuals' you are taken to a server with service manuals for all Epson
products (so it seems), but you can't access them without an ID and
password. Anyone know the passwords (or a good hacker)?
