Re: LCD Monitors

To C. David Tobie et al:

My excuse to replace my monitor finally happened. My dearly beloved 19"
that matched my 1270 printer almost perfectly, finally died of sudden
fright, apparently at one of my images. I need to replace it immediately.
Questions: (For the moment, let's forget price, but exclude the new Apple
Cinema which is totally out of my price range x 2.)

1. Should I buy a 19" LCD? If so, which make and model?

2. Should I buy a 19" CRT? If so, which make and model?

3. How does one setup a 2-monitor system, say a 19" for the working image
and a 15" to hold the tools? Special software or video card needed?

4. What thinks the group about the LaCie monitors?

I really need to make an immediate decision.

Thanks for your help, group.
