C80 Printing Problems (Was: (no subject))

From: Oublazer@aol.com
Subject: (no subject)

I have no idea if I am doing this right? I am looking for advice/tutorials
on using my epson c80 printer for printing photos and such. I use Corel
photoshop and my printer results are no so great.

As far as posting goes it is usual to have a subject for your post so it can
be identified and followed. I have done that for you. It is also usual to
sign a post with a name of some kind so we know who were are talking with.
Aside from that you're off to a good start, just by finding the list and
asking the question. But the info that you provided is too vague to be of
much help to the list. This certainly is the right place to obtain Epson
printer advice. There are C80 users here as well as many very knowledgeable
folks who know a lot about Epson printers in general and are willing to
assist. Many of those here are familiar with the various image editing and
printing programs.

It would help greatly if you would provide some additional information. We
don't have much to go on. It would be helpful to know what computer
operating system you're using and what version (example: Windows 98 Second
Edition), more specific info about the software program and version
(example: Photoshop v5.5) that you're using to print from-Corel photoshop? I
am not familiar with that, what kind of paper you're printing to (example:
Epson Heavy Weight Matte) and anything else that may be of help.

Mostly we need to know what you are doing and how you are doing in order to
try to figure out what is wrong and why it is not working well for you. Even
if you do not know everything about your system, provide as much info as you
can. And try to describe what the printing problem itself is in some detail.
What do the prints look like? Why are you not satisfied?
