re: transporting CIS systems
When I traveled with one while moving homes (short distance but a LONG time torn down) I removed the cart, placed them each into a baggie, rubber banded the bag around the tubes, placed them into a plastic "shoebox" size box and didn't have any troubles what so ever. Now if you are going to fly, I hear it can get REALLY messy due to the loss of air pressure.
