Re: Epson Cartridge Discounts-an alternative
I don't know how many CompUSA stores have business desks (seems most don't),
but there is one in Mesa, Arizona that does. I'm sure for bulk purchases,
Atlex is the way to go, but it's certainly handy for me to drive ten minutes
and be able to pick up a T009201 cartridge for $22.91 (it fluctuates a bit,
but that's what I paid last time). As for tax, well if it's for a job, then
it's non-taxable, if it's not, I bite the bullet.
I get breaks on Epson paper as well. For that matter, breaks on anything I
buy there, though that doesn't always mean much.
But no shipping and handling and no waiting. I like that last one a lot!
So if you're in a large market, it might be worth it to see if there is a
CompUSA with a small business desk. One caution...for some reason my price
break varies depending on who's at the desk. I've got a good relationship
with a long time employee, so if someone else rings it up wrong, I just have
him come up and it gets taken care of.
Anyway, this has been working well for me, so I thought I'd pass it on.
