?? Epson 7000 or 9000 carts??
It's been suggested to me, I think by someone on this list, that it is
possible to "decant" the inks from the Epson cartridges which are designed
for the Epson 7000 and 9000 printers and use these in a CIS for the Epson
1270 printer. These are the Epson "lightfast" dye inks, but the great
advantage would be that they're available in bulk rather than in the
individual carts meant for the Epson 1270.
I have the CIS and the bottles which would be needed, but I'm a little
hesitant to spend the money for cartridges until I know at least a little
about how the inks can be removed from the cartridges and transferred to my
bottles.
Has anyone on the list actually done this? If so, I'd be grateful for any
tips on how it is done.
Thanks - Bill Hansen
