Re: Epson-Inkjet-Digest V2000 #1800

Subject: Re: 5000K or 6500K?

I have a Sony G400 which to my dismay (after I bought it) doesn't have
individual gun controls, and incredibly doesn't even have 6500K as an
option. The 2 options are 5500 and 9300, the PhotoCal instructions were to
use the higher value so I did. Despite my unhappiness with these 2 aspects
of the Sony, I'm getting reasonably good correlation between monitor and
print using ProfilerPlus on my Epson 1200.

Ken,

I have a Dell 19" (which is Sony) and there is a setting accessed via the on
screen menus which is below the 5500 and 9300 settings and is denoted by 3
dots in a triangular pattern. This is 6500 and should be set to a value of
50.

Not sure how the G400 compares to mine but thought I would mention it
anyway.
