1270 OEM inks are dye inks and without exposure to ozone have a 10 year life
on PGPP and a 25 year life on HWM before significant fading due to light
exposure. In these same accelerated light fading test traditional color
photographs last 10 years before fading sets in.

You can get 1270 ink in separate cartridges for the 10000 Epson printer (16
oz size) and now the ink is also availble in cart for the 7000 and 9000.
Either refill 1270 carts or better get a CIS system.
