I've found with my Epson 1280, I can refill a cartridge maybe twice before
all that foam builds up.  You know you're out of luck when you pump maybe
4cc's into a completely empty cartridge and it immediately starts spewing
out the vent holes.  There supposedly methods to deal with getting all that
foam that builds up out, but they've never worked for me.

My solution, getting a CIS somewhere down the line...
