I'm a
landscape photographer, and many of the professional landscape photographers,
including
myself, are switching to LCD monitors, sepcifically we are using the Apple
Cinema Display.
Others have
tested it and claim that the recent Apple LCDs have improved color accuracy that
is better than on a CRT,
and are
also brighter and sharper, easier on the eyes. You have to be sure to view head
on,though the angle of view is also greatly improved in the more recent
models.
