I just deleted Acrobat Prefs as suggested and started up with Acrobat 
4 (the version which won't print to my Epson printers) and got the 
same freeze as before just as the "Spool" dialog window pops up.

Just to clarify - Version 5 DOES NOT crash. It prints to my Epsons 
fine. It is version 4.05a that gives me the problem printing PDFs to 
my Epsons, although it prints to my LW8500 laserprinter without 
problem. BTW, this is all happening on a Mac.
