The Axis servers will not work on the newer 2880 dpi printers so it is
unlikely that Epson will ever update the software for OS X (if Epson indeed
was the original author of that software). In fact I believe that Epson
isn't planning to update all that many drivers (ethernet or otherwise) for
the older printers. I can't find many OS X driver updates on the site and if
they aren't there now that aren't likely to ever be there. So make sure
whatever you buy supports the latest set of printers and there is a chance
you will not end up (like me) with lots of nice workable old Epsons which
need OS 9 drivers forever.
