CIS installed but grainy prints

I just got my Niagara system installed on my 1280.  I got the Gen. 5 inks.
They prints seem to have more grain to them that the Epson cartridges.  I am
printing on Epson Luster and semi gloss paper.  The colors are more washed
out than with the Epson Inks also.  I have ran all the printer tests,
alignments, etc. Does anyone know if this is this something "normal" with
the Niagara system.  Any help would be appreciated.
