Photo 820 borderless printing page alignment

Now to the reason I joined the list:

 I didn't get much of an answer on comp.periphs.printers, so I hope 
someone here can answer
these questions:

 Is 1/32 to 1/16 inch of slop in paper position normal for the Photo 
820? Is there any way to
adjust the left edge? My prints are off the left edge of the paper, and 
a little short of the right
edge. top and bottom aren't perfect, either. Epson tech support told me 
to set my driver for
centered and full size, which I did already. The manual talks about 
print-head alignment, but
it doesn't look like the one I want. Is there a mechanical adjustment 
somewhere, or is this a
function of the driver?

Anyone know?
