I just got my Niagara CIS with Gen 5 inks set up on my Epson 1280 and
I have not seen this effect, either with the Generations ProPhoto
Glossy or Epson Glossy. I profiled the paper/ink combinations with
ProfilerPlus RGB and I am using the Photo Quality Film settings with
2880 dpi. Maybe none of my test images so far have required black
enough blacks to show the effect, but so far, so good.
