Why does PhotoShop use a color gamut smaller than the Standard Human Observer (CIE xyY chromaticity diamgram)? Won't this cause a problem for archiving images (by artificially limiting gamut, i.e., changing the original image)? Won't this cause a future problem by not being able to represent out-of-gamut colors? Doesn't this cause a problem today by not being able to represent wide-gamut colors (from some inks or digital I/O devices)? - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
