I use Smooth Gloss and Classic Pearl with my 1290 and China inks, and can
recommend the following settings as a starting point:

For Smooth Gloss, use PGPP media setting and the PGPP ICC profile available
from Ian Lyons' site (www.computer-darkroom.co.uk)

For Classic Pearl, use Photo Quality Glossy Film media setting and the Epson
Colorlife ICC profiles available to download from Epson. I have found that
this combo gives really good results with B&W prints.

It's worth noting that, if you are going to experiment with settings, that
some of the settings suggested on the flyers that come inside the box of
paper have been superceded on the Ilford website (www.ilford.com)
