3000 ink levels monitor
Have been running under Win 2000 Pro for a few weeks now and, after two
passes at calibrating all my equipment have been getting excellent prints. I
am using the latest Epson 3000 driver, downloaded from Epson's site, and
marked for Win 2000. Works great, BUT, the ink levels monitor no longer
appears. Somewhere, in a readme file I think, I saw that the Win2k driver
for the 3000 does not include the monitor, for some strange reason. Is this
true or do I have the wrong driver? I am sure I am not using the driver that
came with Win 2000, as the downloaded Epson file specified how to avoid
installing the printer with any driver but the one on its site. The version
is 5.0xxxxx. Can anyone verify this is the way the driver is now....better
yet can anyone explain why Epson dropped the monitor?
