Hi, Mom --

Well, the Rams didn't do too well tonight. Bummer. And I guess it was that
distant relative of ours that pounded the last nail. Oh, well. Who cares
about football anyway.

We picked up Timmy and Jordan today from Cassie's folks and they are fast
asleep. Matt and Cassie are in Kansas City. I guess the hotel they're
staying at got power just an hour or so before they checked in on Friday.
Just talked to them and they are having a good time. Jordan and Timmy and I
went to a movie during most of the game so Doug could watch some in peace.
We saw Snow Dogs. Jordan seemed to like it, but it wasn't really a movie for
Timmy. Lots of growling dog scenes. Thought it might affect how he reacted
to our dogs but Jordan said because they were not the "Huskys" it would be
ok. 

I think Cassie is coming home tomorrow so we won't have too much of a stint
at grandparenting this time around. Jordan can be so fun -- we painted and
colored a lot today and played Uncle Wiggily. Doug is working from home
tomorrow so I will have help getting her off to school.

Not much new here. I will call sometime early this week.
