I just ordered a new Epson 1280 printer which will arriving this week. I
plan to use the Niagara CIS system, probably with the new Generations inks.
Should I set up the printer and check it out with the OEM inks and then
install the CIS system, or should I install the CIS system immediately?

Stan,

I would probably take a chance and install the CIS and dive right in. If you do have a problem, the worst that can happen is you have to flush the Gen inks and put in the OEM carts. If you start with the OEM, you will have to flush for sure before putting in Gen 5 inks. I doubt very much that you will have any problems, though.
