Gary, For great looking images with dye-based inks you can't beat the Wide Spectrum inks from www.lincolninks.com. They are long lasting, rating up to 75 years with the Ilford gloss and matte papers on 4 color printers and around 24 years with six. Should last equally as long with the new crop of nonporous papers form ILford. Also, look for around 50 years with the high gloss digital cibachrome Ultra Stable papers from the same source. Metamerism issues are virtually non-existent with Lincoln inks. For longer lasting images you'll have to look at pigment based inks. Possibly the next Generations (5) inks from Media Street.
