I cannot speak for Fotonic inks, never having used them.  I am using MIS OEM
inks in my 1270 with the profile that came with the printer.  Now and then a
very little color tweaking helps.  But mainly, for me at least, having
adjusted my monitor with Adobe Gamma, the above combination works.
