RE: OEM Match Inks

I have been using the Media Street Plug-N-Play inks (which are the same as
NMC OEM Match) on my 1270. The inks are definitely different than the
original original Epson inks. I have used curves adjustment layers to
neutralize color crossovers in a 21 step gray wedge. It is important to
note, however, that the adjustment curves are different for different
papers. I have found that the curve used for Matte HW paper works well for
Archival Matte, and for Watercolor Radiant White (all Epson), and also for
Torchon (or Media Street Royal Renaissance) papers. The curves for Premium
Glossy works fairly well for all other Premium papers (Semigloss, and
Luster). It is a good inkset, but I have no idea how it will fade.

BTW, NMC does not sell directly to customers anymore. They say Media Street
Plug-N-Play is the same ink as OEM Match.

Good luck.
