I would recommend making making only one pass thru the printer with a sheet, just to be extra careful not to put dirt back, but you'll have to depend on your own judgement and degree of paranoia. I have cut a "Bounty" brand paper towel to 8 1/2" wide and used that as Jim describes. Good luck.
