Administrator Jackson to Deliver Opening Remarks at EPA Conference on Improving Our Waters

"Coming Together for Clean Water" conference to focus on healthy watersheds and sustainable communities

WASHINGTON – On Thursday, April 15, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa P. Jackson will deliver remarks at EPA’s “Coming Together for Clean Water” conference in Washington, D.C. The one-day conference will focus on better protecting and improving the health of America’s waters. Approximately 125 water leaders and experts from across the country will have a discussion on our nation’s clean water challenges and possible future actions to address them. Academic leaders, policy-makers, non-governmental organizations, government officials, tribal leaders, agricultural stakeholders, community experts and others will participate in this discussion. 

Administrator Jackson has made protecting America’s waters one of the seven key priorities of her tenure at EPA.
