What are the permissions of /sbin/mount.ecryptfs_private?  It should
look like this, 4755.

$ ls -alF /sbin/mount.ecryptfs_private
-rwsr-xr-x 1 root root 18784 2011-12-13 15:11 /sbin/mount.ecryptfs_private*
