Is there CYGBLD_GLOBAL_WARNFLAGS in yours? I mean this commit
http://hg-pub.ecoscentric.com/ecos/rev/00813b25dec2
and the next Bart's commits from 2009/02/03 to 2009/02/03. 

Is there -Wno-write-strings in your CFLAGS? Well, what is your target?
