Thread local storage

Hello,

Is thread local storage possible in eCos?

I tried the GCC __thread annotation but that seems to give the following 
problem on an ARM target:
undefined reference to `__aeabi_read_tp'

In the case there is no standard way, anyone know a way to work around it?
