Hi Mauro,
Please pull from http://www.linuxtv.org/hg/~hverkuil/v4l-dvb for the
following:
- v4l2-dev: use the release callback from device instead of cdev
It's a substantial change at the core of v4l but it's been reviewed several
times now, I've been testing it rather thoroughly (including under the
2.6.18 kernel) and I am very happy with it. All known race conditions were
fixed without requiring driver changes and since we no longer (ab)use cdev
this should make Greg KH a lot happier as well.
Thanks,
Hans
