 cx18: Disable write retries for registers that always change - part 1
 cx18: Remove redundant block scope variable in cx18_probe() for sparse

The first one I'm going to say is critical, because the cx18 driver may
be inadvertently discarding interrupts if that fix isn't applied.  I
have more follow on work to do on the fix (which will have to wait for
next weekend), but the major part of the problem is addressed.
