If you want others to look at your problem, please provide more information:
1) kernel version
2) kernel configuration
3) build-initrd.sh configuration
4) bootloader configuration
5) full error message that you see
You said kernel boots, but how far? Does it fully boot to unencrypted root
setup without any initrd/initramfs woodoo present? This is required before
you can expect it to boot to initrd based encrypted root setup.
