Well Karen, 2 similar strategies. If you can find an exact media stream, url,
you can paste that in mplayer to listen or watch. Otherwise if its flash and
you cannot locate an exact url, you can go an xvfb firefox root, which
certainly will take more configuring.
As an example, I can visit
www.politico.com/livestream
in an xvfb setting-and-listen to programming, however, just going there in Lynx
will not find me any live media.
Certainly many other live news sites I can now access.
