Hi. Well, I think that python 2.6 is included in squeeze. I'll have to remove that some way.But the errors can be another thing too, I thought that pebrot would ask for the information when I run it for the first time, but I have to edit the pebrotrc file. How do I use pebrot? I can't find any documents about commands and such things.

Hi,I used something called gtmess, written in C and it worked fine. I nowadays mostly use pebrot since I haven't figured out how finsch from pidgin works.I however got pebrot working right out of the box so probably the python installation is not complete for you. Python v2.5 works best with pebrot so maybe you have a too new python.Fredrik On Sun, 3 Jul 2011, Kristoffer Gustafsson wrote:Hi.I've tried to get both pebrot and centericq to work in text mode in debian, but can't get them to work. Just a lot of errors abot libraries and such things, libcurl and libicq for centericq for example.ANy ideas on another client? /Kristoffer_______________________________________________ Blinux-list mailing list Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxxhttps://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list
