SuperVario 40 with gnopernicus using USB?

Hi

Is it possible to use SuperVario 40 with gnopernicus using USB?
I'm running Fedora Core 4 and gnopernicus-0.11.4.

Actually it's for my daughter, right now she is forced to run Windoze to
do her school work, and she (and I) would love to make her SuperVario
work with her linux box instead.

Any hints?

/Anders
