asterisk crash

Hi, one of our asterisk servers recently crashed. Any direction as to how I can provide helpful information about this issue would be appreciated:

asterisk*CLI> core show version
Asterisk 1.8.13.0 built by root @ asterisk on a i686 running Linux on 2012-06-10 22:22:13 UTC

Jul 26 16:39:39 asterisk kernel: [525204.496674] asterisk[5766]: segfault at 0 ip b7521c86 sp b57a8f48 error 4 in libc-2.11.3.so[b74ad000+140000]

The asterisk server is running on an up to date Debian 6 system, but without the -g option as per https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Getting+a+Backtrace, so I beleive I cannot provide any more information.

Is this a libc6 problem?
