I guess I can help on this one. You just need the linux flasher which 
can download from http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/nokia_N900.php

if you issue flasher -h you'll see the supported options, but for 
flashing kernel, you can use flasher -k /path/to/zImage

I'm just not sure if you might have access to TrustZone
without access to proper certificates, but I could be wrong.
